Accessibility Guidelines

Website accessibility is crucial for economic participation of all members of the community. Greater access to Ecommerce infrastructure is expanding opportunities in disadvantaged regions, like Mekong. However, there exist members of the community that rely on good website design practices to be able to engage in Ecommerce.

WCAG has a set of standards websites need to adhere to, however they are highly technical designed to be understood by professional developers. MIV has interpreted these guidelines and reformatted them so they can be understood by all contributors. It’s important to know what accessibility measures matter, but why they matter and who they impact.
